BuildSystem Web has rates for more than 25,000 construction materials from price lists of reputed manufacturers. Discounts from authorized vendors are also given.
Price lists of manufacturers are attached with materials for verification of rates.
Material rates are being regularly updated on web.
Additional material rates, names of manufacturers and vendors are also being added on Web.
All materials, equipments, labour and items of work have a 13-digit code. This code encompasses the MasterFormat and R.S. Means’ coding system.
MasterFormat is an international coding system for construction resources. It was introduced 50 years ago. The entire construction industry in US and Canada uses it.
Web also has schedules of rates (items of work and analysis) of IPMG, CPWD (DSR) and MORTH (Roads).
All databases from Web have been downloaded in BuildSystem CD.These databases can be updated in the CD from Web.
BuildSystem CD has modules for quantity take-off (using Autodesk QTO), estimating, tendering, procurement and inventory. Modules for billing and accounting are shortly being added.
All schedules of rates of IPMG, CPWD (DSR) and MORTH are on a common digital platform through the 13 digit coding system. Users can combine them as one database for estimating. Additional schedules of rates are being added.
There is facility in BuildSystem CD for importing the database of individual users.
Materials in IPMG's items of work and analysis are linked to manufacturers and vendors for regular updating of rates.
- Materials in CPWD (DSR) and MORTH's items of work and analysis are being mapped to materials of manufacturers and vendors for regular updating of rates.
- Materials in user's database can be mapped to materials of manufacturers and vendors for regular updating of rates.This can be done by user or IPMG.
- Material rates are stored and retrieved source-wise, manufacturer-wise, vendor-wise, city-wise and date-wise.
