* IPMG has developed a master database of descriptions of materials with 13-digit codes from price lists and catalogues of reputed manufacturers.The descriptions comply with 5C standard - clarity, completeness, correctness, conciseness and consistency.
* The rates (MRP) of materials have been entered from price lists of manufacturers. This has been done after matching the descriptions of materials of manufacturers with those in the master database.
* The price lists of manufacturers are attached for authentication of materials rates.
* The discounts and taxes have been taken from authorized vendors of manufacturers.
* Initially, IPMG is entering and updating the material rates. Subsequently, manufacturers and vendors shall be entering and updating the material rates.
* The material rates shall be updated on a regular basis. The frequency shall depend on the manufacturers and vendors.
* Users can download the material rate data in BuildSystem CD for estimating, tendering and procurement.
* In BuildSystem CD, users can update the rates and discounts by contacting the manufacturers and vendors. They can negotiate special rates and discounts based on quantity, payment term, etc.
* Also, users can import their materials in BuildSystem CD and map them with the materials of manufacturers and vendors for updating of their material rates.
